Return & Exchange

We want your experience with us to be easy and hassle-free. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return most items within 5 days of receipt of merchandise for an  exchange or refund of regular priced merchandise (for Final Sale please see the final sale requirements). You must request a return authorization before sending your item back. Please email our team at [email protected]. Please note, this is our policy for ONLINE purchases only.

Items bought in store at our Knox location are to be returned within 7 days and will be refunded in the form of store credit or exchange only.

Return Fees

Once your return request has been accepted, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label within one business day via email and can be printed at your convenience. In order to track the return only send returns using the prepaid return label emailed to you,. We cannot refund a lost return that was sent using a method other than our return labels.


Please Note: If you would like to receive a full refund back on your original payment method (as opposed to returning for store credit or an exchange), Planet Bardot will issue you a prepaid return label, and will deduct the cost of return shipping cost from the amount of your refund to cover the cost of return shipping. Planet Bardot will not charge you for the return shipping cost if the item is returned for store credit or exchange. This is a one-time option for each order.

Dallas store location does accept online returns or refunds. If you're local to Dallas you can drop your return off at our eCommerce office - please email our team at [email protected].

 Packing Instruction

  1. Pack the item(s) securely using the original packing material to prevent any damage while in transit. Planet Bardot is not responsible for any damage due to inadequate packaging, and additional charges may apply if the item is damaged.
  2. Please make sure you include all promotional materials, accessories, original box, or other items included with the original shipment.
  3. Print out the "Return Summary" form and place it inside the box.
  4. Print out the "Shipping Label" and attach it to the outside of the box.
  5. Once sealed and labeled, drop off your return at the shipping carrier's facility as indicated in the Return Instructions.
  6. Prepaid return label insures the packages for their full value as Planet Bardot is not responsible for returned merchandise until signed for at our warehouse.
  7. Please note that Planet Bardot does not accept COD shipments.

You will be notified via email once the return is received and processed with all information about your exchange or refund.

Processing Returns

Planet Bardot processes all returns within 5 business days of the receipt of the returned merchandise. Credit card companies vary in the time required to post-credits back to a customer's account. Please consult your credit card company for additional information regarding credit policies. For PayPal orders, refunds will need to be withdrawn from your PayPal account to reflect on your credit card statement.

Security and Inspection Tags

All items must be returned in NEW condition (i.e., not used, broken or worn), not worn, with the original tag attached, Planet Bardot shipping inspection red security tag attached (untampered), with all the original manufacturer's packaging contents included.

Additional fees to return damaged products

For example, if a dress arrives with a belt included, both items must be returned before processing an exchange or refund.  If a complete return is not received, Planet Bardot reserves the right to charge an additional shipping fees to send the package back to the customer.

Gift Certificates Redemption

Any gift certificate issued as a free gift with qualifying purchase is void upon the return of a qualifying product. A gift certificate is deemed returned with product return. If a gift certificate is used upon return, Planet Bardot reserves the right to refuse a return or refund the customer less the amount of the gift certificate issued.

Return Authorization

All exchanges and returns require the creation of a Return Merchandise Authorization number by our office. Please note certain items may require additional documentation at the time of return.

Reserve the right to return or exchange merchandise

Planet Bardot reserves the right to deny any return if the returned item has makeup stains, shows signs that were worn if the security tag was tampered with, removed and retagged.

Restocking Fees

Planet Bardot does not charge restocking fees for most items sent back within seven days of receipt of merchandise. Restocking fees do not apply for items that are returned new, unused and with all original packaging and accessories, provided all Return Conditions are met, and Return Instructions are followed. Unfortunately, there are certain items that Planet Bardot is unable to exchange or refund.

Planet Bardot reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% on returns of items that may have makeup stains, a stain of any nature that requires dry cleaning.  Please note that Planet Bardot reserves the right to refuse any returns received in non-sellable condition or if the stains are not removable. Additionally, Planet Bardot reserves the right to charge additional fees if an item is not returned in its original packaging.


Planet Bardot will gladly fulfill an exchange whenever you are not fully satisfied with a purchase within seven days of receipt. Please ensure the returned item is in NEW condition (i.e., not worn, not used, opened, broken with all the security tag untampered). We will not charge your for the return label if an item is exchanged. This is a one-time offer

To obtain a refund, please adhere to our Return Conditions and Return and Exchange Instructions. Customers not following these steps are issued a refund in accordance with the condition of the returned merchandise and the value of any missing items. Refunds are unable to be issued until the merchandise has been received, evaluated, and processed by our Returns Team.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for shipping charges, including but not limited to domestic Ground, Express, or international shipping. Please be advised that we are unable to refund any fees imposed by an entity other than Planet Bardot, e.g., customs or brokerage fees.

Final Sale Items

Final Sale items are not eligible for return or refund. All fine jewelry, unless otherwise marked, is final sale.

Dropping return items at Dallas store

At this time, we are unable to accept online returns at Dallas Store. Items ordered via the website must be returned following the policies listed in the Orders, Shipping, and Returns information above. Local Dallas customer may not drop your returns at our Dallas location.
