The idea of ‘lived-in’ as a synonym for craftsmanship can be seen clearly in the PRSX, thanks to unique, patented foxing tape that creates a purposefully imperfect sole. The shield on the side of the shoe features the coat of arms of the City of Paris, where Philippe Model launched its brand, and therefore represents the origins and identity of the brand. The upper is made from calfskin and suede with laminated calfskin inserts and a crocodile print effect, shield embroidered with zig-zag stitching and a vintage used effect. The laces are white and waxed. The sole, 2.5 cm high, is made from vintage effect brushed rubber. Philippe Model Paris uses Italian materials and leather. We call it ‘made with care in Italy’.
